Birthday Greetings

Between family and friends, I have more birthdays in the month of September than any other month! Today I have another birthday card to share with you (and it is not the last September birthday card either). This one I made for my friend and downline Kim. I used several of the new in colors for this - Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Wild Wisteria. I also used a stamp from the Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set. I love how every layer of this stamp coordinates with one of our punches! :)

Another Birthday Card

Today I have another birthday card to share with you! This one I made for a friend whose favorite color is purple! I got this idea from Mary Fish's blog. I just changed up the colors and the stamp set I used. I pretty much pullled out every shade of purple - Elegant Eggplant, Concord Crush, Wild Wisteria, Rich Razzleberry, and Perfect Plum.

Jeremy's Birthday Card

Hi everyone. Today I have another birthday card to share with you. This one I made for our friend Jeremy. I got the idea for this card from Mary Fish's blog. This card uses the Frostwood Lodge designer series paper. I like how this pattern can be used for more than just Christmas! I also used the Happy Birthday stamp from the Perfectly Penned stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. Love, love, love this set!

Robot Birthday

Today I have the card I gave to my dad for his birthday this year. I actually got the idea from a swap card I got at convention last year. This little robot is super cute! Various sizes of circle punches make him look very festive! :)

Allison's Birthday Invite

My daughter Allison turns 3 today! I can't believe how fast the past 3 years have gone! This weekend we are having her birthday party. This year she wanted a Pooh Bear party, so this is the invite I made for her. I found the image online, sized it just right, and then printed it out. I then layered it on Real Red and Daffodil Delight card stock. I used the Your Invited stamp from the Inviting stamp set and Real Red ink.

Happy I Do Day

Today I have the cards I made for my brother's wedding to share with you. First, here is their main card. Lots of punching and embossing on this one. The stamp is from the Word Play stamp set. I added a little bling to it by adding a rhinestone to the ring.

Since their gift was in multiple boxes, I created this little 3 x 3 card as well to go on the other box. I of course had to add the bling again on this one.

Wedding Favors

Today I wanted to share with you the wedding favors I made for my brother's wedding. For these I used the Scalloped Bag (retired from SU!) die and my Big Shot to cut out 200 of these from Cherry Cobbler card stock. Then I stamped the swirly image from the Elements of Style stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. The bags tie shut with a piece of Basic Black grosgrain ribbon through two holes I punched with my crop-o-dile. I printed out their names and wedding date on my computer on Whisper White card stock and then punched them out with my oval punch. I then layered then on top of a Basic Black scalloped oval which I also punched out. The tag is attached the bag by a piece of silver cord (retired).

Here are some shots of the favors on the tables at the wedding. I think they coordinating very nicely with everything else. :) And if you look closely you can get a peek at the bride and groom taking a few pictures before all the guests entered the reception.

August Demostrator Swap

Hi everyone! Today I have the cards from our August Demonstrator Swap to share with you. The theme for August was "Christmas in August". First, here is my card. I was inspired my a similar card I saw online, so I wanted to make my own. When making my card, I realized that I had thought I had ordered the Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper, however after looking everywhere for it, I realized I hadn't. However, I had purchased the Frostwood Lodge Digital Download for My Digital Studio so I used that instead! All the Designer Paper on this card is actually printed out using My Digital Studio! Awesome! This card also features the new Stocking Builder Punch and Christmas Lodge stamp set. Love it!

My Digital Studio Contest

• It’s open to all demonstrators and customers who have access to My Digital Studio in the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada (excluding Quebec). Demonstrators and customers will be judged separately; ten finalists—five customers and five demonstrators—will be chosen by Stampin’ Up! judges, and the public will choose six winners--three customers and three demonstrators--via online voting.
• Submit your entry to MDSContest@stampinup.com. To enter the contest you will need to design one digital card and one single-page layout using ONLY My Digital Studio product. Submit all samples along with your full name, address, and daytime phone number. Include a photo release form (if you used pictures of people other than your immediate family).
• Finalists will receive $100 in FREE My Digital Studio digital downloads from Stampin’ Up! and winners will receive $400 in free downloads! Winnings will not be combined. For example, if you are a winner you will not get the finalists’ prize plus the winners’ prize. Ellen's Workshop

Hi everyone. This past weekend I did a workshop for a friend and I have the projects to share with you today. First, here is the hostess gift that I made for her. We received the idea and supplies for this project at Convention in our Workshop in a Bag. I was excited to get to make it for a workshop! It turned out really cute. :)

Inside the bag are 4 little thank you tags.
