Allison's Baby Book - Months 3-5

Well I finally printed out the rest of the pictures for Allison's baby scrapbook. Take a look at my original post for all the details on this scrapbook. Here are the pages for months 3-5. Allison just turned 5 months on February 22nd, so I am now caught up!



This is the page for her 3rd month. This page was done by Lauren, my brother's longtime girlfriend.

This the is the 4 month page. I actually did this one myself. :)

And lastly, here is the 5 month page. This one was another one I did myself. I had a hard time getting a good photograph of this page for whatever reason. It looks much better in person!

Hello Kitty Birthday Cards

Aimee's Hello Kitty birthday party went off without a hitch on Saturday. The kids all had a great time! Today I wanted to share with you the 2 cards I made for Aimee. This first one is the one that I made for her sister Allison to give to her. I used some Hello Kitty patterned paper I had in my stash. Ashley's Hello Kitty card posted here provided me with inspiration!

And, this is the card I made for her daddy and I to give to her. I used my Cricut and Hello Kitty cartridge on this one. It is kind of hard to tell from the photo, but I texturized the white piece in the background with my texture plates and Big Shot. I used the large polka dot one. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Hector Ambriz Page

Today I have another page from Chris' scrapbook for you. You can see my original post for all the details of this project, or click here to see all the pages I have posted so far. This one is another baseball card. I scrapped two copies of the card to show the front and back, as the picture is shown on both. And of course a 5 x 7 of the actual photo. The stamp that I have used to capture the journaling is from the "For the Record" set by Autumn Leaves.

So, this page, along with the pages I posted in my last 3 album posts were the original set that I scrapped and gave to Chris for Christmas. These were all the published pictures he had that first year. Since then, he has gotten a lot more, so stay tuned for more pages! :)

February Demo Swap

We had our monthly demo swap yesterday. This month's requirement was to make a card using any "all natural" set with watercoloring. Specificially we were going for using the SU! watercolor crayons directly on the stamp. I however I had trouble getting my to turn out, so I ended up just using my watercolor crayons and my aquapainter to do the watercoloring. Here is my card:

Don't they all look great? I am looking forward to next month's swap. We will be doing a "retro" theme. Specifically following the Retro Fresh style watch in the catalog. I am looking forward to that one!

This month we were challenged to create a card using any current "all natural" set (example pg. 80-103 of the current Stampin' Up! catalog) and use a watercolor technique of your choice (watercolor crayons or blender pens). Henry Sosa Page

Today I have another page from Chris' scrapbook for you. You can see my original post for all the details of this project, or click here to see all the pages I have posted so far. This one is another baseball card. This one is kind of cool because it is an autograph card. For this one I scrapped 2 copies of the card to show the front and back. It is also cool because this player is from our local minor league team - the San Jose Giants. He has since moved up to the majors and now plays for the San Francisco Giants.

Anyway, this is another basic page to commemorate another published piece of work. The stamp I used for the journaling this time is from the "For The Record" set by Autumn Leaves. Enjoy!

A Plethora of Hello Kitties and One Last Valentine

I hope everyone had a great weekend (and Valentines Day). I had a nice long weekend because of the President's Day holiday. So, I was able to get all of Aimee's Hello Kitty invites done. Here they are (and my poor tired Cricut after cutting out 26 of these):

And here is Aimee with them all. She is very excited about her Hello Kitty party. I got all of these in the mail today. Now we just need to go shopping for the rest of the party supplies!

Lastly, I made one last Valentine. I realized that I had forgotten to make my husband a Valentine from Allison, our 4 month old (Aimee made him one herself so I didn't need to worry about that). I blame it on "mommy brain" for totally spacing on this one. So here is what I quickly made:

This is pretty much a CASE of this card here. Once I saw this I knew I had to CASE it because one of Allison's favorite toys is this little mouse rattle that we have dubbed "Mr. Mouse". So this is a "Mr. Mouse" card!

• Happy Heart Day and A Happy Heart Stamp sets
• Real Red, Pacific Point, and Whisper White card stock
• Basic Black, Pacific Point, Real Red, Close to Cocoa, and Pink Pirouette ink
• Blender Pen
• Dimensionals
• 1", 1 1/4", and 1 3/8" circle punches
• Pacific Point Striped Grosgrain Ribbon

Hello Kitty Invite

My older daughter Aimee is turning 4 on March 1st. This year she wants to have a Hello Kitty birthday party. So, for her invitations I bought the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. This cartridge is one of the ones that has the card feature, so I created this card for her invite:

It is kind of hard to tell from the photo, but the card fold is on the left hand side. For the inside I was going to print out all the party details on a piece of white card stock and paste it inside. What do you think? Too cute, huh? Now I just need to figure out how many of these I need to make and start "Cricuting"!
