March Technique Class

Today I have the cards from my March Technique Class to share with you. First we did this present pocket card using super cute Sale-a-bration products. Don't forget, Sale-a-bration ends on March 31, so get your orders in before it is too late!

Next we made this card using the Build a Blossom punch and coordinating stamp set. I got the idea for this card from Mary Fish's blog. Love the way the colors just pop on this card!

Next we did this card, which is similar to one of the ones that we did at our last Inkerbelle's get together. I love the simplicity of this card as well as the fact that it showcases many of the Sale-a-bration and Occasions Mini products.

And last but not least we did this card and use the Faux Frosting technique on the cupcake. To create this technique we took the Tombow multipurpose glue (the green glue) and swirled it over the top of the cupcake. Before it dried we sprinkled clear embossing powder on the top and then heated it up with the heat gun. I got the idea for the card card from my up-upline Julie. The best part of this card? The cherry punched out of the red glitter paper!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Today I have a project to share with you that I did with my Daisy Girl Scout troop at our last meeting. Our theme was "Use Resources Wisely", so I had them decorate dry erase boards using the So Green stamp set. The girls can now use their boards to write notes and draw pictures instead of paper!

I know it has been a while since I have posted a card, but things have been hectic lately and I have not had very much time to stamp! But today I have this adorable baby card to share with you. This is the card that I made for my husbands cousins (often referred to cousin in laws) for their new baby girl.

February Demonstrator Swap

Hi everyone. Today I have the cards from our February Demonstrator swap. This month, the challenge was to make an Easter or spring card using 2 different kinds of embossing techniques (heat embossing, texture plates, embossing folders, letterpress plates, etc.). So, first, here is my card. I used an embossing folder on the background and heat embossed the little girl by first stamping in black craft ink on glossy card stock and then adding clear embossing powder.

Here is Merrigrace's card. She used a texture plate to emboss the base, and then covered it with Celery chalk. The 2nd form of embossing is on the patterned where she used an embossing folder.

And here is my mom's card. The background is embossed with an embossing folder and the cherry blossom is heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Aimee's Birthday Thank You

Hi everyone! I have one last Rapunzel item from Aimee's birthday to share with you. This is the thank you card I made for her to give to everyone that came to her party and sent gifts. As with the other cards, I printed out the image on the computer and then layered onto my card. I am glad that I am finally done with all the birthday hoopla! Now, on to the next thing! :)

Aimee's Birthday Card

Today I have the card I made my daughter Aimee for her 6th birthday. She had a Tangled themed party this year so that was the inspiration for this card. :)
