April Technique Class

Today I want to share with you the cards we did at my April Technique class. First, we did this Mother's Day card using a technique I like to call Letterpressed Ice. To create this sparkly background, we inked up a letterpress plate with VersaMark ink, place the card stock on top, and then ran it throught the Big Shot. While the ink was still wet, we sprinkled Iridesent Ice on top and heat embossed it. Instant glitter background paper!

For this card our technique was coloring the Vanilla Rosettes with a maker to make a colorful blossom!

For this card, we used the ribbon stamping technique to stamp the tape measure on a piece of Very Vanilla Seam Binding. Love how this card turned out!

And last but not least, we made this Easter card. No new technique here, but a simple, but stunning Easter card! :)

Mom's Birthday

Today I wanted to share with you the project I made my mom for her birthday. First, here is her birthday card:

I got this idea from a sample I saw at our last Inkerbelles get together and decided to CASE it.

Next, I needed a little gift bag for her gift. So I use the Fancy Favor die to create this little bag. I accented the bag with some Spring Time Vintage designer paper and used a piece of the Spring Vintage fabric as my bag filler. It turned out super cute and fit the gift perfectly!

Easter Treats

Today I wanted to share with you these Easter treats I made for my family. I filled these with Easter goodies and placed them on everyone's plate for Easter dinner. They turned out super cute and everyone loved them!

March Demonstrator Swap

Today I have the cards from our March Demonstrator swap to share with you. The challenge this month was to make a Easter Theme or Spring Flower card or project exclusively using supplies from the Occasions Mini Catalog and using glitters/sparkles/sprinkles.

First here is my card. I used the fabric to make a dress for the dress form. :) The pom pom's are considered my "sprinkles".

Next here is my mom's card. It is hard to see from the photo but the gold egg is sparkley. :)


And here is Lenore's card. Love the sparkley egg.
