Chris' Birthday Cards

My husband Chris celebrated his birthday a few weeks ago. I have been so busy that I haven't had time to post his birthday cards yet. So, without further ado, here they are!

First, here is the card that I made him.

Holiday Shipping & Other Reminders

Holiday Shipping

Stampin' Up! has recommend that you place your holiday orders by Tuesday, December 15, 2009 to receive your orders before Christmas. Delivery times will vary depending on where you live; if your personal experience indicates that it takes longer for packages to reach you, you will want to allow a little extra time for shipping during the holidays. If you miss this deadline - expedited shipping is also available at an extra cost.

All orders received by December 15 will be picked, packaged, and delivered to our courier in plenty of time to arrive by December 24. But as you know, we cannot control delivery times; holiday mail volumes are high, and our delivery services encourage customers to ship as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

November Demonstrator Swap

Today I wanted to share with you the swaps from our November Demonstrator swap. This month my mom challenged us with creating a gift card holder using 3 different types of decor (such as stamps, ribbon, punches, glitter, buttons, etc). Here is what we came up with! (Note: the dimensions for the gift card holder are at the bottom of the post.)

First, here is mine. I used the Dasher stamp set and one of the snowflake stamps from the Delightful Decorations stamp set. The Merry Christmas is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.


Next, here is Kim's. She created some "shimmer spray" using our new shimmer paint to create her own shimmer paper! This really sparkles in real life!

Next here is Lenore's. I love the colors of this one and how she added the silver elastic cord to the ornament.

Here is Nicole's. This was her first swap with us since joining our group about a month ago. I think she did a great job! I love how she added the scallop border to her band!

And last, but not least, here is my mom's . I am partial to this one because snowmen are my favorite! I also love how she added all the glitter. This is super sparkly in real life!

I haven't received Merrigrace's swap yet, but will post it when I get it. I am excited to see what she came up with!

Instructions:

Cut a piece of card stock 4" x 7-7/8", scoring and folding horizontally at 2-3/8" and 5-1/8". Then create a belly band 7-1/4", scoring and folding at 2-1/2" and 5-1/4". Belly band slides on to hold the card closed.

Occasions Mini Catalog is Coming!

Yep, that's right, the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog is coming! It starts January 5th! The Occasions Mini Catalog blow you away! Why you ask? Well, first there are 43 pages of brand new products. But the biggest thing is the enhancement of some of our already great products!

Would you like some details? Stampin' Up! will have the option of Clear Mount Stamps! If you're wood stamp fan ....not a problem, you'll still have that option. But, why not give clear a try? Especially because when Stampin' Up! releases something it will be of quality. These are not clear stamps, they are clear mounted. This is the key to the product lasting & a clear image (that means no fuzzy image). Plus, they will be priced lower than their wood mount count counterparts (note - you will need to purchase the clear-mount blocks separately, but these can be used over and over again for all your stamp sets). Each clear mount stamp set comes in a DVD sized case, which takes up less storage space as well. I have preordered some of these and as soon as I can get my hands on them I'll share it with you.
