Inkerbelle's Get Together

Yesterday we had a "Inkerbelles" get together. Tami Wadell (who is my up-up-upline) hosted it at her house and had 10 projects for us to do. It was a ton of fun so I wanted to share with you all the projects we did. All the projects were made from products from the new Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog.

Full of Sweetness and Wonder

Today I wanted to share with you my first Decor Element I used on a wall (I have done them on a door and paper before, but not on the wall). For this project I got the Sweetness Decor Element in Chocolate Chip and applied it over her crib. I think that this saying defines her to a T. :) Here is a close up shot of the wall.

Here is a shot of the room.

And here is Allison helping to model the shot. :)

Birthday Card

My brother's birthday is tomorrow, so today I wanted to share the card I made for him. Since he told me that he received it in the mail yesterday I know that it is safe to post it now! Ha ha. He is turning the big 2-5 this year and is in the process of buying his first house. So, for his gift I got him a Home Depot gift card, which I know that he will be able to use! And the cool thing was that the Home Depot orange coordinated perfectly with my Pumpkin Pie paper used in the card! :) Since masculine cards are so hard to come up with sometimes, I am always looking for ideas for these. For this card I ended up CASEing this. I think it turned out nicely! :)

Ingredients:
  • Everything Nice stamp set
  • Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper
  • Bermuda Bay Designer Series Paper
  • Soft Suede Textured, Pumpkin Pie, and Whisper White Card Stock
  • Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay, and Soft Suede Markers
  • Circle Scissor Plus and Glass Mat
  • Large Star and Star Punch
  • Silver Brads
  • Stampin' Dimensionals

January Technique Class

I held my January technique class this past Sunday and today I wanted to share with you the cards we made. Since we are kicking of the start of the Occasions Mini catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog we used a lot of the new products from these catalogs. How many can you spot? :)

First, this is the card we did to demonstrate the new 2 step bird punch. I got the idea for this card here.

Ingredients:
  • Tiny Tags stamp set
  • Whisper White, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip card stock
  • Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pack
  • Chocolate Chip and So Saffron markers
  • Two Step Bird punch
  • Jewelry Tag punch
  • Linen Thread
  • Elementary Ribbon Originals
  • Stampin' Dimensionals

Next we used the Faux Tearing technique on this card as well as the new Beautiful Wings Embossits Die for the Big Shot.

Ingredients:
  • Well Scripted clear mount stamp set
  • Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, and Whisper White card stock
  • Soft Suede Ink
  • Crushed Curry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
  • Scallop Border Punch
  • Beautiful Wings Embosslit
  • Big Shot
The is next card uses the Kissing technique. We used the new Butterfly Accent and Dot, Dot, Dot stamps for this. These new stamps are perfect for this technique!

Ingredients:
  • Butterfly Accent, Dot, Dot, Dot, and Well Scripted stamp sets
  • Regal Rose, Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White card stock
  • Regal Rose and Melon Mambo Ink

  • Big Shot
  • Stampin' Dimensionals

And this last card is my favorite. For this card I demonstrated using the new Scallop Trim corner and border punches together to create a fully punched square. We also used the new Love Bandit stamp set on this one. I love this set! So cute!

  • Love Bandit Clear Mount Stamp Set
  • Real Red, Very Vanilla, and Kraft card stock
  • Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Basic Black markers

Build-A-Bear Gloves

Today I have some more Build-A-Bear goodies to share with you. I bought some gloves and some felt and here is what I made for my girls:

Aren't they cute? They were so easy to do too! The Big Shot cuts right threw felt as easily as it does through paper!

Now, here are my girls modeling their gloves on Christmas Eve. :)
