Aimee's Birthday Party

Wow, it has been a while since I have posted! Things have been very busy around here, and one of the reasons being my daughter Aimee's 5th birthday! Today I wanted to share with you all the goodies from her party. She wanted a "Stamping Bear" party, which means she wanted a Build-a-Bear with all the Build-a-Bear SU! offers. So, first, here is the invite I made.

Since this was a "Stamping Bear" party, I had some "Stamping Bear" projects for the kids. First, I had bought some plain party hats. For each kid, I cut out a scallop circle and bear with my Big Shot.

I had each of the kids pick out a hat and then they "built" the bears on their hats. They loved it! And they all wore their hats! Pretty much for the whole party. Here is a shot of the kids watching my hat building demonstration! I was lucky to also have 3 other SU! demo's in attendance who jumped in and helped the kids! :)

Here are Aimee and Allison's completed hats:

Next the kids built bears. I precut out the bears and the clothes and the kids got to dress the bears. Some of the kids stuck their bears to their goodies bags. Here is Aimee's bear:

Next, here is one of the party favors I made. On the front I stamped the build-a-bear bears. Insided I put a box of crayons and a ring full of stamped bears that the kids could color (they could color the front of the holder as well).

Next, here is the other party favor I did. I used the Fancy Favor die to cut out the bags and inside stuck some candy.

And last, but not least, here is Aimee's birthday card!

Projects from Angela's Workshop

Today I wanted to share with you the projects that we did at a recent workshop. First, here is the card that we did. This is similar to one of the make and take cards that was done at the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference this year. I like it because it shows off a lot of the products from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

The hostess had requested that we do a scrapbook page as one of the make and take projects. So here is the 8" x 8" page that we did.

And last. but not least. here is the hostess gift that I presented to my hostess. Inside the bag is a matchbox with 2 incentive stamps, a post-it note holder, and pen and of course chocolate! :)

Simply Adorned 1-1/2" x 2" Rectangle Charm Now Available

I am happy to announce that as of March 1, 2010, the Simply Adorned 1-1/2″ x 2″ Rectangle Charm, featured in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog, will be available for purchase!

Simply Adorned charms are lockets--they open up so you can insert your custom stamped image. The Charming stamp set, along with Rub-Ons, glitter, ribbons, and other embellishments, can help you create your unique charm insert. And don’t forget that you can embellish the chains with ribbon, felt flowers . . . the possibilities are endless! The frame surrounds tempered beveled glass on the front and flat glass on the back. Because there’s glass on both sides of the charm, you can display an image on one side or both. You can create a custom heirloom piece that you’ll never want to change, or you can swap artwork in and out, depending on your mood and your wardrobe.

And although we designed Simply Adorned charms to be jewelry, they also make delightful key chains or Christmas tree ornaments. Insert a stamped image or photo of your loved ones, tie a ribbon through the clasp, and you’re done!
