Happy Birthday Allison!

Hi everyone!  Today I have the card that I made for my daughter Allison's 4th birthday to share with you!  She had a Minnie Mouse birthday party this year.  You can check out the invitations that I made for her party here.  To coordinate with the invitations, here is her card:

And of course I had to add these cute little mouse ears to the inside:

And last, but definitely no least, here is my little mouse all ready for her Minnie party!

Make a Wish

Today's card was made by Dianne Logeais.  I received this as a convention swap.  I love how she used the strips of designer paper on this card.  It is simple and fun!  And what a great way to use up those scraps of designer paper that we don't have the  heart to throw away!

Little Boat

Today's card was made by Rachel Yurkanin.  I received this as a convention swap.  This is another great masculine card, but more for the little boy set.  :)  Would also be cute as a baby card for baby boy.

Ship Card

If you are like me, you struggle when it comes to making masculine cards.  Today's card is a Convention swap I received that I think nailed the "manly" theme!  Unfortunately, there is no name on the back of this one, but it is definitely one of my favorites.

Birthday Butterflies

Today's card is another convention swap card.  This one was made by Mary Ann Reiner.  I love how she punched the butterflies on the side out of the white and "filled" the back with the embossed card stock.  Another "must try" technique!

Cork Butterfly

Hi everyone.  I am back again today to share another swap card I received at Convention.  This one without a name as well (what is up people?  Put your name on your swaps!).  In case you can't tell from the picture, the smaller butterfly is cut from our Cork sheets.  I love the cork but am always stumped on how to use it on a card.  I love how this was done and may have to try this one myself!  :)

Hello Card

Today's card is not one I can take credit for, but I wanted to share it because I really like it.  This is one of the swap cards I got at Convention.  I have through all my swaps from Convention and have picked out all my favorite ones and plan to share them with you here when I don't have something of my own to share.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. This one unfortunately does not have a name on the back, so I can't tell you who made this (if this is your creation, drop me a line!).  This card is very much my style!  I could see myself totally CASEing this in the future.  ;)

You're Amazing

Hi everyone.  Well I am finally getting around to posting this.  This is a card that I made at Convention.  It was one of our Make & Takes.  Although it was time consuming to punch out and string up all those little tickets, I really like how it turned out and is probably my favorite Make & Take card from Convention.

Minnie Mouse Invites

Hi everyone!  Today I want to share with you the invitations I made for my daughter Allison's 4th birthday party.  She has decided that she wants to have a Minnie Mouse birthday party this year.  I found this cute idea online and decided that it would be perfect for her party!  The card uses the Criss Cross card technique.

Here is a shot of the pull out part of the invitation (I have "erased" our personal information).

Now to get started on the rest of the party planning!  :)

September Technique Class

Hi everyone. Today I have the cards from my September Technique Class to share with you.  First we did this super fun Halloween card.  This card does not open, but is designed to hold a treat on the front.  My downline got a card similar to this as a swap at convention, so I CASED that card here.

For this next card we made Coiled Fabric Flowers using the new Sticky Rounds.

For this next card, we used the Rock and Roll technique. This one was a big hit! Everyone loved the peacock! :)

This last card is modeled after I swap from convention as well.  This is one I personally got and fell in love with, so I decided to demonstrate it in class.  I don't know if these has an offical technique name, but I call it a Tri-Fold Peek-a-Boo card.  :)

Brownie Kaper Chart

Today I wanted to you share with you the Kaper Chart I made for my Brownie troop.  I made a similar one 2 years ago when the girls were Daisies.  Now that they are Brownies, we needed a whole new chart.  I used all Stampin' Up! products, however most of what you see here is retired (Build-a-Bear dies, ribbon).

First here is a shot of all the whole chart with all the girls name tags stuck on.  The name tags are magnetic.

Here is a close up of one of the tags. I cut a piece of magnet sheet and aheared a piece to the back of the tag and then stuck another magnet to the underside of the card stock on the main board.  The card stock itself is adheared to cardboard.  The magnet is in between these two pieces.

For the board title, I created a little Brownie uniform for the bear.  I am thinking that her vest needs a few patches.  I might go back and add those on.

Here is a close up of the little pocket I made to told the tags when they are not in use.  I used the Favor Die and just cut it down to the right size for a small pocket.
