Mom's Birthday Card

Today is my mom's birthday and here is the card that I sent her. Hope she likes it! :) I cut out the butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die and my Big Shot. I cut one set out of Bashful Blue card stock and another set out of vellum card stock. I wrapped linen thread around the middle and then adhered the Bashful Blue portion to the Shimmer White cards stock and then left Vellum card stock butterfly loose so the wings could "flutter".

Write Stuff All Occasion Card Class

Last month I held a special card class where we made 30 all occasion cards using The Write Stuff Specialty paper kit. We even had enough supplies left over to make a 12" x 12" scrapbook page! This was a great class and it is nice to have a stash of cards on hand for every occasion! Below are all the cards we did.

Cards from April Technique Class

I held my April Technique class earlier this month and today I wanted to share with you the cards that we did.

First, we did this card which uses two techniques. We first embossed a piece of chipboard with the Finial Press Textured Impressions Folder and the Big Shot. We then mixed Platinum Shimmer Paint and Rich Razzleberry reinker and used a paint brush to paint it onto the chipboard to create a faux metal look.

For this card we used the new Awash with Flowers stamp set (don't forget about this month's promotion with this set!) to create this card using the Two Step Stampin' technique.



Next we used the Hugs Love Notes from the Occassions Mini Catalog to create this Mother's Day card.



And last, but not least, we have this card, which we made using the a technique called "Twisted Movers and Shapers". This is a super cool technique using the magnetic punch window from the Movers and Shapers Curly Label die.

Nicole's Birthday Card

My cousin-in-law and now my downline Nicole celebrated her birthday a couple of weeks ago. Today I wanted to share with you the birthday card that I made for her. I was inspired by this card here.
