May Technique Class

Today I want to share with you the cards we did at my May Technique class this past weekend. Since this month was the launch of the Summer Mini catalog, I wanted to use some of the new goodies from the mini. First we did this card which uses the new Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi embossing power. We used the powder on the leaves and the flower. The stamp set is the new Fabulous Florets set from the mini and paper is the new Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper.

Next we did this card which showcases the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch.

Next we did this card using the new Strength and Hope stamp set. We used the stamp with all the words on a piece of vellum, which we then layer over a piece of Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper.

And last but not least, here is the card we made using the Stampin' Mist technique. To do this, we first took a piece of Whisper White card stock and sponged Not Quite Navy ink all over it. We then took the Medallion stamp and inked it up with Versamark ink. We then immediately sprayed a layer of Stampin' Mist on top of the Versamark and then stamped the image on our sponged piece of card stock. The Stampin' Mist pulls some of the ink away leaving a cool watermark behind.
