January Technique Class

I held my January technique class this past Sunday and today I wanted to share with you the cards we made. Since we are kicking of the start of the Occasions Mini catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog we used a lot of the new products from these catalogs. How many can you spot? :)

First, this is the card we did to demonstrate the new 2 step bird punch. I got the idea for this card here.

Ingredients:
  • Tiny Tags stamp set
  • Whisper White, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip card stock
  • Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pack
  • Chocolate Chip and So Saffron markers
  • Two Step Bird punch
  • Jewelry Tag punch
  • Linen Thread
  • Elementary Ribbon Originals
  • Stampin' Dimensionals

Next we used the Faux Tearing technique on this card as well as the new Beautiful Wings Embossits Die for the Big Shot.

Ingredients:
  • Well Scripted clear mount stamp set
  • Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, and Whisper White card stock
  • Soft Suede Ink
  • Crushed Curry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
  • Scallop Border Punch
  • Beautiful Wings Embosslit
  • Big Shot
The is next card uses the Kissing technique. We used the new Butterfly Accent and Dot, Dot, Dot stamps for this. These new stamps are perfect for this technique!

Ingredients:
  • Butterfly Accent, Dot, Dot, Dot, and Well Scripted stamp sets
  • Regal Rose, Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White card stock
  • Regal Rose and Melon Mambo Ink
  • Chocolate Chip satin ribbon
  • Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder
  • Big Shot
  • Stampin' Dimensionals

And this last card is my favorite. For this card I demonstrated using the new Scallop Trim corner and border punches together to create a fully punched square. We also used the new Love Bandit stamp set on this one. I love this set! So cute!

Ingredients:
  • Love Bandit Clear Mount Stamp Set
  • Real Red, Very Vanilla, and Kraft card stock
  • Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Basic Black markers
  • Scallop Trim Corner and Border punches
  • Real Red Satin Ribbon
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
