Delightful Dates Calendar

Happy New Year Everyone! To celebrate the new year, I wanted to share with you the calendar I made using the Delightful Dates Calendar Kit from the Holiday Mini Catalog. This is a great kit, but will only be available until January 4th, so if you want one of these you need to place your order before then. I also used one of the magnetic gift boxes from the Holiday Mini Catalog to store my calendar in. Check it out....

Here is the box and the calendar set up on the stand.

Here is a close up of the January calendar page. I used the Take Note stamp set and my markers to jazz up the pages.

Here is a shot of all the pages and the stand. The stand is made out of chipboard and comes with the kit. I covered it with Old Olive craft ink.

And here is the calendar nice and snug in it's box. This beauty is coming back to work with me next week and will sit on my desk for the rest of the year. :)

More Christmas Bears

Hi again. I have another quick post for today. As we are approaching the new year, I wanted to post one last Christmas project. Remember the Build-a-Bear tin I posted here? Well I made Christmas outfits for Aimee's bears using magnetic sheets. Here they are all decked out:

While I had all my Christmas bear supplies out I decided to make some more ornaments. I made a set for myself, my mom, and my sister. Here they are, ready to go!

Christmas Goodies

Hi all. I just wanted to share some of the Christmas goodies that my mom made for us. First here is the Christmas card she gave us. Super cute!

Next, here are some large gift card holders that she made for my husband and I. These are about 5" x 7" big. Inside was a card with an Amazon.com gift certificate for each of us. Super cute packaging, don't you think?

December Swap

Happy New Years Eve everyone! Today I wanted to share with you some of the cards from our December demonstrator swap. This month it was Nicole's turn to pick and she picked any project with a ribbon tree similar to the one on page 43 of the current Stampin' Up! catalog. Here is mine:

Ingredients:
  • Many Merry Messages stamp set
  • Soft Suede, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Real Red, Crushed Curry, and Certainly Celery card stock
  • Certainly Celery 5/8" ribbon
  • Soft Suede Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon
  • Soft Suede Ink
  • Gold brads
  • Big Shot
  • Merry Details Die
  • Scallop Trim Border punch
  • Small Star punch
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
Here is Kim's card. Yes, it is that sparkly in real life. She sprayed shimmer paint over the entire card. So pretty!

And here is Nicole's card. I like how she used stamps to create her own patterned paper!

As you can see, we are missing a few cards this month. Once I get them from everyone I will post them!

Fall Regional Make & Take Projects

Periodically during the year Stampin' Up! offers Regional Seminars to us Demonstrators. They are offered in different places all over the country. This year there were none in my neck of the woods, however Stampin' Off offered something new this year. They offered the Regional Seminar on DVD and the option for us to buy the Make & Take projects for us make on our own if we could not attend. I though that this was a great idea and purchased the projects to make. Below are all the projects that were included. They all use use one stamp set - the Berry Merry set from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I love this set! If you don't have it yet, hurry! It is only available until January 4th!

First, here is a little 3 x 3 card and matching envelope.

Next here is a little box made with the Bitty Box and Envelope die. In addition to the box, were 5 little gift tags to put together.

Here is a close up of the tags.

Here is the front of the box.

All the tags fit nice and neat inside!

Next, here is a 8 x 8 scrapbook page. This is one of my favorites. :)

Next, here is a bag of 3 x 3 cards with a cute bag topper. You can see in the picture, but each of the cards inside is decorated with a bird to match the tag. Super cute!

Next here is a super cute Christmas card.

And another Christmas card.

What do you think? Lots of versatile projects from one stamp set, huh? These were a ton of fun to make and I am hoping that there will be a Regional Seminar close by that I will able able to attend in person soon! :)
